My professional education began at Missouri State University in Springfield with a Bachelor's degree in Education and Early Childhood Certification. It continued at Concordia University, Chicago where I received a minister of the Gospel degree to serve in the teaching ministry through the colloquy program. At Immanuel, I appreciate working with the committed staff who provide not only classrooms full of excellent academic opportunities, but also strive to serve each student with a servant’s heart in order to fulfill the Great Commission by being witnesses of God’s love and grace! My favorite verse is, 'Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard you hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.' Philippians 4:6-7. My husband, Andy, serves as Assistant Director for the Career Center of the Washington School District. We have four daughters: Macy (13 years old), Kailey and Olivia (11 year old twins), and Paige (9 years). My hobbies include camping, fishing, computers, music, and reading.
