My educational background began at East Central College, finishing with an Associates of Arts degree in Elementary Education. Subsequently I attended Concordia University, Seward, NE and earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Lutheran Teaching Diploma.  I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in counseling from Concordia University in Wisconsin.

I am elated to serve at Immanuel Lutheran School! I enjoy the personalities of the creative students I teach each year. Also, the memories my students and I generate on a daily basis make Immanuel a great place to be a part of. My favorite Bible verse is ' Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another, God lives in us and His love is made complete in us' 1 John 4:11-12.

My husband, Chris and I have been married since 2006.  He currently serves as the computer teacher here at Immanuel. We have two dogs – Moxy and Berlin, and two cats - Buttons and Sassy. For my hobbies, I love to read, watch movies, travel, and play with my dogs and cats. I am also a licensed Amateur Radio Operator – Extra class.
