FEBRUARY 2012

 We will be running a regular month in February with Jr. and Sr. High youth on the second and fourth Sundays of the month, with 5th and 6th grade youth on the 3rd Sunday. All youth are welcome to join us!  We hope to be sharing plans for a spring trip in the near future.  Our theme for our 1st meeting is -

Jr. High will meet from 4 - 6 PM, Sr. High will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 on Sunday, February 12th, and Sunday, February 26th.  Sr. High Chillin' will also be held on Thursday, February 2nd and Thursday, February 16th.  BYOB is on Wednesday mornings from 7:45 to 8:15 for Sr. Highers.

5th and 6th Youth will meet on Sunday the 19th from 1 - 3 PM.

SR. HIGH IS ALSO HAVING SOME GREAT STUDIES ON SUNDAY MORNING.  WE HOPE YOU CAN JOIN US SOON!

PARENTS OF TEENAGERS –   NEXT MEETING IS February 6th. The topic that night – Our World, Our Kids World … This is OUR FATHERS WORLD! If you came before, bring a friend, if you are new, we would love to have you! Feel free, if you are able, to bring a snack to share with the group.

Immanuel Lutheran’s Parents of Teenagers (IL POT) offers to parents of teenagers Christian support as we grow together in Gods Word, and provide resources for the challenges we face as Christian parents. In doing so, we will encourage one another, grow through fellowship and fun, and take the opportunity that is placed before us as a chance to reach out to others (inward and outward) who have the same or similar challenges that we face in God’s gift to us of teenage children.

This group is for ALL parents of teenagers, soon to be teenagers and parents of college students.

All parents are invited to join us for our next meeting February 6^th at 7 PM, in the youth room. DON'T COME ALONE – BRING A FRIEND!
